Meron was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She earned her BSc from Addis Ababa University in architecture & urban planning. After working for several years, Meron took a six month break from her career to travel the world. She traveled with 120 people from over 11 countries advocating for world peace & multiculturalism through volunteering and music.
After traveling, Meron moved to Seattle, WA where she started her insurance career at Douglas Insurance. Five years later she joined Farmers Insurance Agent Protégé program in Portland, OR.
At the end of 2022 Meron moved to Washington, DC and shortly after joined JWM as a personal lines account manager.
In her free time, Meron travels with her husband Bati and enjoys trying new restaurants, bars, and local markets.. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Meron also enjoys attending sporting events, mostly soccer, which her husband played. She is a D.C United fan because of coach Wayne Rooney – A Manchester United all star player.
