Meet Our Team

Courtney was born in Washington, DC and raised in Montgomery County, MD right outside of DC. She went to Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD then attended Roanoke College in Salem, VA where she played on the Women’s Lacrosse team all four years. Courtney graduated in 2017 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resources.

Courtney began her early career in New York City before moving back to Washington, DC in 2019 where she still resides. In 2021, she joined the family business, Joseph W. McCartin Insurance, Inc., which was started by her grandfather in 1967 and is now run by her father. In 2020, she became SHRM- CP certified and in 2021 she obtained both her Property & Causality and Life & Health Insurance licenses.

Outside work, Courtney is a huge Baltimore Ravens fan and loves going to Bethany Beach in Delaware.
